Tata Harrier to be Available for Bookings from October 15

Tata Motors schedules on opening the bookings for its SUV Tata Harrier this October 15 with the pre-bookings of Rs. 30,000.

Following the Tata's Impact Design 2.0 which was showcased at the 2018 Auto Expo, Tata Harrier is considered one of the most expected launches in terms of the passenger car segment. Being available for booking from October 15 this year, the SUV is claimed to launch in January 2019 with the booking amount set at Rs 30,000. The deliveries are also said to begin within a month of the launch.

Commenting about the launching news, S N Barman, the Vice President of Sales & Network, and Passenger Vehicle Division from Tata Motors said, 

“We will start accepting bookings for the all-new Harrier for an amount of ₹ 30,000.” Further sharing details about the pricing and deliveries, Barman added, “We are evaluating an introductory price for the Harrier when we will launch the SUV in January 2019 and we are also planning to start the deliveries within a month of the launch.”

As for the details, the Tata Harrier has prevailed from the Land Rover Omega platform which will house the power from a 140hp, 2.0-litre Kryotec diesel engine. Additionally, the SUV will offer a 6-speed manual gearbox apart from a Hyundai-sourced 6-speed automatic gearbox, which was recently caught to be in the test. Regard of the interior, the Tata Harrier is expected to be available in a floating infotainment display along with a digital instrument cluster.
