Since launch, Tata Harrier has been offered with diesel engine only. However, in the near future, a new turbocharged petrol engine will be introduced on the Harrier as well.

Tata Motors is on the roll recently. Last month, the homegrown car manufacturer has become the third best-selling carmaker in the Indian market, ranking just after Maruti Suzuki and Hyundai. To keep the momentum going, in the future, Tata is planning to add some new vehicles to the line-up as well as strengthen the existing models. Tata Harrier is among the models that will be given updates in the imminent future. This SUV was launched last year and has quickly become one of the most popular choices in its class. However, from the beginning, Tata only offers a diesel engine for the Harrier. Seeing the increasing demand for a petrol engine, Tata Motors has decided to add a new turbo petrol engine to Harrier’s range.
