Tata Harrier's New TVCs To Be Introduced In Vivo IPL 2019

Tata Motors will introduce the series of the TVCs for the Tata Harrier in Vivo IPL 2019.

Being the first ever vehicle to be supported by Tata’s OMEGA architecture, Tata Harrier, the latest flagship SUV of the company, started to be put on sale in India in January. Thanks to its unique exterior design, premium interior and a competitive price, the Harrier is selling like hot cakes in India with over 1,400 units sold last month.

To further promote the sale of the Tata Harrier, the home-grown auto manufacturer is intending to show a small series of TVCs for the Tata Harrier in Vivo IPL 2019. The advertisements will be focused on the topic ‘Love At First Drive' and feature two Bollywood stars, Siddhant Chaturvedi and Fatima Sona Sheikh.

Firstly, let’s have a look at the video which will give you an overview of the Harrier SUV. Please pay attention to the time period between 1:37 to 1:51, in which the first TV commercial in the series, which is named as the Hitch’ and stars Fatima, is shown.

In the TVC, Fatima Sana Shaikh was left alone in a remote area, looking for a lift from any vehicle. An SUVs stops to offer her a lift and a Tata Harrier from the opposite direction stops, too. Fatina, after a little considering, chooses to travel by the Harrier. This shows that the Harrier SUV is so attractive that it will certainly catch the attention of all the people on the road.

Talking about the Vivo IPL 2019, the Tata Harrier is going to make its debut at all the stadiums. Moreover, Tata Motors is also to present a 'Harrier Super Striker' trophy to the cricketer who gets the highest score in each match. Meanwhile, the 'Harrier Super Striker of the Season' can bring home a new Tata Harrier. Furthermore, the 'Harrier Fan Catch' prize of Rs 1 lakh will be awarded to the fan who takes a one-handed catch for a six in a match. The ‘Harrier Fan Catch of the Season’ will be presented with one Tata product.

Expressing his opinion on the campaign, Head of Marketing for the Passenger Vehicles Business Unit of Tata Motors, Mr Vivek Srivatsa, stated,

“The first year of our association with the IPL proved to be a game changer for our much celebrated, compact SUV, the Tata Nexon which won many hearts and is now one of the leading players in its segment. We are confident that the 12th season of the IPL will be much bigger in terms of viewership and spectators at the stadiums. Through the ‘Love at First Drive’ campaign for the Harrier, we want to capture the audience’s attention in a manner that is both clutter breaking and eye-catching. Furthermore, Siddhant and Fatima embody the spirit of the Harrier and lend their individual style and appeal to the campaign. We are confident that the TVCs will project the right imagery for the Harrier and will help the brand to capture the imagination of a billion plus audience, just like the IPL itself.”
