Both of the upcoming vehicles have made their debuts at the 2020 Auto Expo earlier this year. It is suggested that Tata might launch these cars in the last quarter of this year or early next year. In the past few months, Tata Motors has witnessed positive sales growth without adding new vehicles to the line-up. The Gravitas and HBX have passed the testing phase and are production-ready. However, Tata is not in a hurry to push these new cars to the market. According to Vivek Srivatsa, Head of Marketing, Tata Motors, the car company is focusing on the existing product line-up and waiting for the right time to launch new vehicles so that the new launches will not hurt the ongoing momentum or disrupt the supply chain. He said,

"We are currently witnessing robust sales of our products. Though we have tripled production, the gap between demand and supply is growing. There is a waiting period ranging from two to six weeks for the cars. There are constraints in the vendor supply chain that are being addressed. We are committed to bringing the new vehicles as soon as possible."

In the first haft FY20-21, the car industry suffered from a sales decline of 34 per cent. Despite the general struggle, Tata Motors has registered a 10 per cent growth. As per the sales report, Maruti Suzuki took the biggest share of the market with the highest sales of 4.2 lakh units. Hyundai ranked second with 1.6 lakh. Tata finished third with 69,366 units sold. Mahindra & Mahindra followed with a total sales of 50,815 units.

As the buying sentiment is still growing during the festive season, it is expected that Tata Motors will gain good sales and keep the sales momentum going.
