Tata Nexon Available At The Price Of Tigor

Indian carmaker Tata has recently launched the BS-VI compliant Nexon facelift at an introductory price tag of Rs 6.95 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). After the introduction of the BS-VI model, the carmaker has discontinued the BS-IV model and has started selling out the leftover stock of the BS-IV models with huge discounts. Tata is officially offering the BS-IV Nexon with Rs 75,000 discount all over India. Moreover, some selected dealerships are offering the BS-IV Nexon with even higher discounts. After Rs 75,000 discount, the effective price of the petrol-powered Nexon XE trim is equivalent to the price of the XZ variant of Tigor, which sits a couple of segments below the Nexon.

Tata is officially offering the BS-IV Nexon with Rs 75,000 discount all over India

So, basically, right now, one can buy a BS-IV Nexon at Tata Tigor’s price. Mechanically, the BS-IV Tata Nexon gets propelled by a 1.2-litre, turbo-petrol engine, which puts out power and torque outputs of 110 PS and 170 Nm. The SUV also derives power for a 1.5-litre, turbo-diesel unit that produces 110 PS of power and 260 Nm of twisting force. The transmission duties are performed by a 6-speed MT and AMT. It competes with the likes of Maruti Vitara Brezza, Mahindra XUV300 and Ford EcoSport.
