In a bid to ensure customers’ safety amid the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, Tata Motors has launched a new service called ‘Nexon EV 3D Commerce’ on its official website, in order to provide a complete virtual experience of the electric compact SUV from their home.
The 3D visualisation enables the user to explore the 360-degree view, colours, variants, features and accessories of the Nexon EV in details
Tata introduces the new “Nexon EV 3D Commerce” on the occasion of the World EV Day. Powered by Eccentric Engine’s One 3D platform, this 3D visualization is a first-of-its-kind service that provides its customers with a complete and detailed experience of the vehicle without having to venture out to the dealerships.
Basically, it is a 360-degree visualization that enables the user to explore the 360-degree view, colours, variants, features and accessories of the Nexon EV in details. It is the very first automotive 3D e-commerce service where customers can explore the availability of all accessories and book their personalized model on the website.
“We are constantly looking at ways and means of improving customer experience and engagement. The current pandemic has urged businesses to change their approach and adapt in accordance with the new normal. Being a homegrown brand, it gives us great pleasure to partner with Eccentric Engine, an innovative Indian tech company, and launch this initiative, as we redefine our customer engagement. The Nexon EV 3D Commerce is a big step in this direction”, said Mr Ramesh Dorairajan, Head – Sales Marketing and Customer Care of EV Business Unit, Tata Motors.
Back to the Tata Nexon EV, the electric compact SUV was launched earlier this year alongside the regular version. Right from its launch, the Tata Nexon EV easily became the best-selling electric car of India and the demand still keeps rising.
Powering the Tata Nexon EV is a 3-phase PMSM (permanent magnet synchronous motor) that puts out 129 PS of max power and 245 Nm of peak torque. Paired with the electric motor is an IP-certified 30.2 kWh lithium-ion battery that can be charged to 80 per cent via a fast charger in around 60 minutes. The Tata Nexon EV gets an ARAI-claimed driving range of 312 km.
