Tata Nexon was the first made-in-India car to score 5-star rating at the Global NCAP crash test, and still, it is one of the only two Indian cars to have achieved a full score by G-NCAP. There are many existing owners of the Nexon who have appreciated the compact SUV for its robust built quality. Here, we have a video of an incident, where a big hoarding falls over the SUV. Given below is the video to show want happened to the passengers sitting inside the car.

This incident happened in Dehradun earlier this year, where the high-speed winds and thunderstorm cause this huge hoarding to fall. The Nexon SUV was just parked under this advertising board, and there were also passenger sitting inside the vehicle. This incident shows how safe the compact SUV is for passengers in real life. The occupants got out of the car safety, but seem quite panicked because of the shocking incident. There were four people sitting inside the car, and they got out of the vehicle safely without a single injury. This whole shocking incident was captured on a CCTV camera installed to keep a look at the parking lot. The passengers moving out of car safety after the incident looks quite unbelievable and amazing. Moreover, the carmaker is also using this video to promote the safety of the car and entice the customers.

At the Global NCAP, the sub-four meter SUV scored 16.06 points out of 17 in adult occupant safety. The carmaker has recently launched the 2020 Tata Nexon in the Indian market, which is priced between Rs 6.95 lakh to Rs 12.7 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). It derives power from a BS6 compliant 1.2-litre petrol and 1.5-litre diesel motor. The transmission duties are done by a 6-speed MT and AMT gearbox option.
