The Sierra concept is going to be the attention grabber on the Tata’s pavilion this year on the expo floor. The legendary Sierra was known for its rugged looks and a full-glass roof that was way ahead of its time. Tata Motors has pulled the same job again with the Sierra concept as well. The lines are a lot more modern this time, but the butchness is preserved with the right amount of flair and drama.

The Sierra concept retains the full-glass roof as the original Sierra.
The Sierra concept sits a lot higher off the ground than what other cars at the Tata Motor’s space are sitting it. With short front and rear overhangs, it has also been given the true-blue SUV credentials, which will help it go off the road with ease. It also gets a full-black cladding all-around. With flush door handles and sleek headlamps and tail lamps, the Sierra proves that it is a concept of the 22nd century.
The straight face seems like not caring a little about the aerodynamics, but the raked windshield takes care of that aspect. However, it is the full-glass roof that is been seeking our attention for all the good and the bad reasons. But with that, the anticipation for the unveiling of its production version catches all the height in our minds, which will happen sometime around the next auto expo in 2022.

The interior of the Sierra concept also reveals about the modern-ness the car will get for itself. As the front co-passenger seat can be rotated all the way around to make a lounge inside the cabin itself. Also, the cabin is free from any mess, what so ever. The spoiler alert here is that what looks like a 2-door setup here is actually a crew style 4-door setup generally seen on the pickup trucks in western lands of the globe. Yes! That is the convenience offered by the modular ALFA platform, which also underpins the Altroz.
So, as of now, this is all that we know about the concept as the specs are kept under the cover and we request you to follow this space for more info on the launches, unveils, and reveals that are taking place at the Auto Expo 2020.
