After receiving the price hike, the Tata Tiago XT has received some new features including updated door locks and front door pads. The new and simple lever-like door lock replaces the old pull-up/push down type which you will find only on the old-gen and economical car models like Maruti 800 or Maruti Omni. The new door lock is located around the same area as the door lever, which makes it easier to access. Such a small change will reduce the effort to manually operate the doors.

Apart from the new door locks, the Tata Tiago XT also receives new pads for the front doors, which adds some premium appeal to the interior design. The material update for the door pads will give the armrests and the door handles a better feel. However, only the front doors will receive this update. On the other hand, Tata Tiago XT has dropped the parcel tray. The rest of the feature list remains the same. All the minor updates come at a marginal price hike of Rs 1,000 – 1,500.

It also sports a similar sporty flat-bottom steering used on the Altroz and Nexon. The XT variant also features the steering wheel-mounted controls, which allows the driver to control the audio system or incoming calls easily. In terms of safety, the Tata Tiago XT is equipped with dual front airbags, ABS with EBD and control stability control (CSC), and rear parking sensor.
