It was standing right next to the manufacturer’s showstoppers – HBX and Sierra concept. The 2020 Tata Harrier was done in red and black dual-tone treatment and was catching a lot of attention. It surely had a lot of updates right up its sleeves in terms of the features list, powertrain, and drivetrain. The 2020 Tata Harrier is mostly the same but carries some updates. Mr. Bose explains in the video how the updated SUV has been launched with a more powerful engine. Basically, the new motor on offer isn't too different from before as the 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo-diesel unit sourced from FCA now develops 30 PS more. The car also gets a new 6-speed torque converter gearbox as an option alongside the 6-speed manual offered before. The automatic gearbox is a Hyundai-sourced unit and will also be seen on the Gravitas. That said, these are the only mechanical changes that the refreshed model gets.

In the video, Mr. Bose also explained the cosmetic changes that the SUV gets, including the new 18-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels. Apart from the cosmetic changes, the 2020 Harrier also gets added changes to make it an easier to car live with. It now gets new ORVMs, which are compact and do not obstruct the driver’s vision or create any blind spot like the earlier units used to.

The refreshed SUV comes with a more powerful engine, optional automatic transmission and some additional features.

The addition of panoramic sunroof is something which should make the 2020 Tata Harrier quite attractive to the SUV buyers. According to Mr. Bose, it is the largest in its segment and most will use it as a moon roof rather than a sunroof. On the inside, the car now has a lot more metallic inserts than the outgoing model to give it a sense of added freshness. These are the changes that the 2020 Harrier comes with, and with them on board, the car is expected to grab sufficienlty more market share,.
