This Modified Toyota Raize Looks Like a Lamborghini

Toyota Raize is a mini SUV which was launched in the Southeast Asian market last year. Today, we have some interesting images of a modified version of this model that looks a bit like the Lamborghini Urus. This customization job is done by Japan-based outfit Albermo. The car modifier is quite popular in the local market for developing body kits and is known to giving Toyota cars a tinge of Lamborghini and Ferrari.

The Raize compact SUV is based on Toyota's DNGA modular platform

Toyota Raize is a compact SUV which is based on the company’s DNGA modular platform. This platform has been developed to cater to the Asian markets. Moreover, the sub-4 meter SUV also has a Daihatsu derivative, named Rocky. Both the models rival the likes of Ford Ecosport in their target markets. Upfront, this customized Toyota Raize looks quite identical to the Lamborghini Urus, which is the first modern SUV from the Italian supercar manufacturer.

However, this modified SUV looks quite cartoonish because the original Urus 'Super-SUV' is wider and low-slung, while the Toyota Raize is narrow and notably taller. Along with this body kit, the compact SUV also employs sporty two-tone alloy wheels and ultra-low-profile tyres. Except for these changes, no modification has been done on outside or inside. This custom kit can be also fitted on the Daihatsu Rocky. The SUV is 3,995 mm long, and it derives power from a 1.0-litre turbocharged petrol motor. The SUV sounds like an attractive proposition for our market, isn't it? 

In terms of specs, this SUV is quite fit for the Indian market

The three-pot motor puts out 98bhp of maximum power and 140 Nm of peak torque. The engine comes coupled with a CVT and this SUV is offered in both 2WD and 4WD layouts. For our market, Toyota Motor is planning to introduce a rebadged version of the Brezza SUV. It’ll compete with the likes of Hyundai Venue, Mahindra XUV300 and Ford Ecosport.
