Android Auto and Apple Carplay allow the driver to connect their devices via the infotainment display. The drivers can access their smartphone using voice control or the steering-mounted controls without involving their hands. This way, the driver will be less distracted from driving. However, the new Android Auto and Apple Carplay system on the Mahindra Scorpio is not wireless. Instead, it requires using a cable to connect the phone to the infotainment display.
