The launch of the Thailand-spec Toyota Fortuner has made the headlines in recent days. In the Thai market, the refreshed Fortuner gets a comprehensive makeover for the inside as well as outside. Notably, the majority of the Toyota Fortuner sold in the Asian market are produced in Thailand. 2021 Toyota Fortuner will be available in two different versions, a standard Toyota Fortuner and the Toyota Fortuner Legender.

Toyota Fortuner facelift will be available in two versions, standard Fortuner and the Fortuner Legender.

It remains to be seen if Toyota Fortuner Legender will make its way to India. However, we all expect that this version of the Toyota Fortuner will be introduced in our market. The Legender features a more impressive appearance with sportier front design and some new attractive styling elements. It features a new grille, LED DRLs and projector headlamps for the fascia. Apart from that, the Legender also gets some enhancing styling elements like underbody protecting skid plates, two-tone finished 20-inch multi-spoke alloy wheels, black cladding, blackout wing mirror, black side steps, chrome window garnish. Chrome elements are intensely used on the Toyota Fortuner Legender. To the rear end, the Toyota Fortuner Legender sports a redesigned bumper with L-shaped taillights.

The Legender will be available with dual-tone colour schemes, including black roof-pearl CS with black roof, black-emotional red and Attitude Black Mica colours. This might be the most distinctive features of the Legender against the standard Fortuner, which can be easily spotted in the first glance. On the other hand, the standard Toyota Fortuner receives some slight updates that set it apart from the previous version. It now flaunts a larger headlamp cluster, revised bumper and revamped fog lamp housing.

On the inside, the Toyota Fortuner Legender also boasts some exclusive features. It is available with a 9-inch infotainment touchscreen with Apple Carplay and Android Auto connectivity, wireless charging, JBL surrounding sound system, ambient lighting with USB port for the rear row. Apart from these comfort and entertainment features, the Legender also comes with Safety Sense suite with Dynamic radar cruise control, lane departure warning and pre-collision system and more. In terms of engineering, the Toyota Fortuner Legender gets exclusive shock absorbers that allow better handling. This special version comes with two diesel powertrain options - 2.8-litre and 2.4-litre.
