Toyota Land Cruiser Heritage Edition Unveiled

Toyota has revealed the 'Heritage Edition' of the Land Cruiser 200. The special edition SUV employs unique graphics and equipment.

Toyota has unveiled the 'Heritage Edition' of the Land Cruiser 200, which is meant for the Middle Eastern markets. The SUV will be offered with V6 and V8 powertrain options, and the new Land Cruiser 200 will feature a few cosmetical tweaks. In terms of looks, the Heritage Edition gets less chrome detailing on the outside. The SUV employs a different bumper upfront compared to the regular Land Cruiser 200 along with a different set of wheels. Moreover, there are a few differences between the V6 and V8 models.

Toyota has plans to introduce the 'Heritage Edition' Land Cruiser 200 in the coming months

The V6 model gets LED headlamps, steel wheels, unique unequal barn-style doors and a tailgate-mounted spare tyre, while the V8 model features more a powerful LED projector headlamps, alloy wheels, wing-like grille extension, roof rails and sequential turn indicators upfront. Both the SUVs gets unique body graphics.

Furthermore, there are a few differences inside the cabins of both these models. The Land Cruiser 200 V6 variant gets grey fabric upholstery, a stereo system with Bluetooth  AUX, USB, CD and Bluetooth connectivity, wooden gear knob, single-zone climate control and ‘Heritage Edition’ badging. On the other hand, the V8 trim features beige fabric upholstery with ‘Heritage Edition’ badging embroidered into the headsets, 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system, electrically adjustable driver’s seat, a sunroof, dual-zone climate control, rear camera, crawl control and tyre pressure monitoring system.

The SUV is offered in two different trim levels namely- V6 and V8

Talking about the engine specs, the 4.0-litre, V6 motor puts out power and torque outputs of 271bhp and 385 Nm. The engine comes coupled to a 5-speed manual gearbox. On the other hand, the 4.6-litre V8 motor puts out 304bhp of power and 439 Nm of twisting force. The transmission duties are done by a 6-speed AT. We expect the carmaker to introduce an 'Heritage Edition' Land Cruiser 200 in the coming months.
