Toyota Rolls Out The Land Cruiser Heritage Edition To Celebrate The Glorious Past

Have been introduced since 1951, Toyota Land Cruiser has gone through an evolution until now with the high capability to drive off-road along with a sturdy appearance. The lasted Cruiser model sold was recorded to be in 2007. To mark this long successful path, Toyota has launched a Heritage Edition restricted in numbers to retain the exclusivity.

Accordingly, Toyota has recently been working on rolling out 1,200 limited units of Land Cruiser Heritage which dedicated for the US market. It is said to come with an assortment of exterior and interior changes.

The Land Cruiser Heritage Edition will be unveiled for the first time at the 2019 Chicago Auto Show taken place in February before entering showrooms in the following months.

The special SUV will be available in two color options which are

• Midnight Black Metallic 

• Blizzard Pearl

There are two color options on offer

With dark exterior accents, it will be equipped with a big 18-inch BBS wheels and a unique vintage-style exterior badging. This is a notable character to differentiate the limited edition with other mainstream cars in the Toyota family.

The Land Cruiser badge is so extraordinary

In terms of interior, the cabin is impressive with black leather-trimmed upholstery with bronze contrast stitching. This detail is also seen on the steering wheel, center stack, console, and door trim as well. Additionally, the Land Cruiser limited version will receive a host of features as standard such as

• 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system

• Voice recognition 

• Satellite radio

• Bluetooth and other connectivity options

• Premium JBL audio

• Wireless charging pad for smartphones 

• Four-zone automatic climate control

• Ventilated front seats

• Heated steering wheel

• Keyless entry with push-button start/stop

The interior is equipped with a long list of features as standard

Remarkably, the Toyota Safety Sense P suite will be provided as standard as referred below.

• Sway Warning System

• Radar Cruise Control

• Automatic Emergency Braking

• Blind Spot Monitor 

When it comes to the powertrain, the limited version will receive the power via a 5.7-litre V8 engine which can produce 381 hp and 544 Nm. This motor comes mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission with permanent 4WD system.
