Potential buyers will be able to pre-book the SUV online or at their nearest Toyota dealership. To book the upcoming Toyota Urban Cruiser, a person needs to pay a token amount of Rs 11,000. The automaker will officially reveal the prices of the SUV by next month. The engine will come mated to a 5-speed MT or an optional 4-speed torque converter automatic gearbox. This very power plant also does duties in Maruti Vitara Brezza, Ciaz, Ertiga, and XL6. All the automatic trims will also feature Suzuki’s SHVS mild hybrid system that includes an Integrated Generator Starter and an advanced Li-ion battery. Once launched, it’ll rival with the likes of Maruti Vitara Brezza, Hyundai Venue, Ford EcoSport, Mahindra XUV300, and upcoming Kia Sonet. The front profile of the SUV will look quite different from the Maruti Vitara Brezza. It’ll feature a twin-slat wedge-cut dynamic grille with some premium chrome accents. Illumination duties will be done by LED projector headlamps with LED DRLs.

Moreover, buyers will also get an option of 16-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels. The new sub-4-meter SUV will be offered in multiple mono- and two-tone colour shades including a new Brown paint scheme. Inside, the SUV will come loaded with features like a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility, smartphone-based navigation, cruise control, rain-sensing wipers, electrochromic inside rearview mirror and more. The Japanese automaker will also offer a standard warranty of 3 years/1,00,000 km.
