Customers who pre-book the Toyota Urban Cruiser can avail a free maintenance package for up to 2 years. The Maruti Vitara Brezza-based Toyota SUV will launch in the coming weeks
While the Toyota Urban Cruiser has been one of the much-awaited models of the year, the upcoming compact SUV has received an exponential response from the customers ever since the bookings commenced. Toyota Kirloskar Motor has recently introduced a special “Respect Package” for the customers to express their gratitude towards ones who have pre-booked the Maruti Vitara Brezza-based model before it’s launched.
The Toyota Urban Cruiser will compete against the Kia Sonet, Hyundai Venue, Maruti Vitara Brezza, etc. in the compact SUV segment.
In line with the company’s “Customer First” philosophy, Toyota’s special “Respect Package” offers the customers who have pre-booked the Urban Cruiser SUV (before its official launch) a no-cost periodic maintenance for up to 2 years/ 20,000 km (whichever comes first).
Commenting on the announcement of the Respect Package, Naveen Soni, TKM’s Senior Vice President, Sales and Service said that
“We are truly touched by the response the ‘Opening of Bookings’ for the Urban Cruiser has received, across the country. The Respect Package is our way to express our gratitude to our customers and welcome them to the Toyota family. Customer trust and brand loyalty spur us to push ourselves harder to deliver the Urban Cruiser to them on time. The all-new Toyota Urban Cruiser introduces the customers to Toyota’s SUV design and world-class after-sales experience. The Urban Cruiser will be fully revealed in a launch event this festive season, with announcements on the pricing, variants and delivery schedule.”
The Toyota Urban Cruiser will come off as an arch-rival to the likes of Kia Sonet, Hyundai Venue, Marui Vitara Brezza and other vehicles in the compact SUVs segment. The upcoming SUV will be powered by a new 1.5-litre K-Series four-cylinder petrol engine that will be paired with both manual and automatic transmission options. Particularly, all AT variants of the Urban Cruiser will be available with a Li-Ion battery combined with an Integrated Starter Generator that offers idle start-stop, regenerative braking along with torque assist.
The new Toyota Urban Cruiser will be offered in three trim levels – Mid, High and Premium. The Toyota car will boast of a range of features on the outside and inside, including a two-slat wedge dynamic grille, dual-chamber LED projector headlamps, 16-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels, dual-tone exterior paint scheme, smart playcast touchscreen audio, smartphone-based navigation, cruise control, rain-sensing wipers among others.
