Upcoming seven-seater Hyundai Tucson SUV spotted again

Hyundai new-gen Tucson recently spotted in China. The upcmoing SUV will be 5 and 7- seat configuration.

Last year reports flooded over the internet which suggests that Hyundai is planning to launch the new-gen Tucson between 2020 and 2023 with 5 and 7-seater configurations. The car will get manufactured locally to keep the pricing on an aggressive side. Once launched, the new-gen Hyundai Tucson will compete against the likes of Toyota Fortuner, Ford Endeavour and Honda CR-V. Moreover, the second-gen Hyundai Creta is expected to get launched by early 2020 and, it will demand a bit premium over the ongoing model. The upcoming-gen Tucson based on Hyundai's Fluidic Sculpture 2.0 design language and it new model will also acquire design cues from the Hyundai Kona and Santafe.

The forthcoming seven-seater Hyundai Tucson recently spotted in China beneath the body of the ix35. It looks quite similar to the outgoing Tucson and, produced under the Beijing-Hyundai joint venture. On the inside, the new-gen Hyundai Tucson will get a complete makeover. The SUV is expected to come equipped with a new floating touchscreen infotainment system which will feature the Bluelink technology. The all-new Hyundai Tucson is best for the Creta owners who are willing to upgrade in a higher segment. A few days back, Hyundai has also launched Venue in India, which costs Rs 6,50,000 (ex-showroom, Delhi).

Moreover, on July 9, Hyundai is officially launching the Kona electric SUV in India. Kona is going to be India's very first fully electric car.  The Hyundai Kona will derive power from a 39.2 kWh battery which is good at developing 135 bhp of power and 335 Nm of peak torque. The all-new battery pack can offer a range close to 250 Km and, it can sprint from 0 to 100 in just 7.6 seconds. The SUV will be imported to India through the CKD (Completely Knocked Down) route. At first, Hyundai will aim to market 1000 units of the SUV in the Indian market for the inaugural year. We expect the all-new SUV to get priced between Rs 20 lakh to Rs 25 lakh.
