Bookings for Volkswagen Tiguan AllSpace 7-seater SUV Underway at Rs 50,000

The German auto giant Volkswagen has started accepting bookings for the 7-seater Tiguan AllSpace in India. One can book the 7-seater SUV at a token amount of Rs 50,000.

German auto giant Volkswagen has started accepting bookings for the 7-seater Tiguan AllSpace in India. One can book the 7-seater SUV at a token amount of Rs 50,000. The car is now offered with a longer wheelbase to accommodate an extra row of seats. The upcoming Volkswagen AllSpace will be offered in India with BS-VI complaint Petrol and Diesel motor. The upcoming SUV will between be priced between Rs 30-32 lakhs (ex-showroom). The upcoming 7-seater SUV will replace the ongoing Tiguan in the company’s portfolio. Moreover, the carmaker has also started testing the SUV in India. In terms of looks, the upcoming Tiguan AllSpace will look quite identical to that of the ongoing model.

The car is now offered with a longer wheelbase to accommodate an extra row of seats

The face of the car looks quite similar too, which comprises of chrome slat grille along with redesigned LED headlights. Moreover, Volkswagen Tiguan AllSpace will also employ larger profile wheels wrapped around sporty dual-tone alloy wheels. The rear profile of the SUV will feature split-LED taillights along with twin exhaust pipes. Dimensionally, the Volkswagen Tiguan AllSpace is 4701 mm long, 1839 mm wide, 1674 mm tall and has a wheelbase of 2787 mm.

Along with the length and wheelbase, the carmaker has also increased the height of the car by 2 mm. The SUV will come loaded with features like a touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, panoramic sunroof, drive modes, dual-zone climate control, electronically adjustable front seats and much more. The SUV will derive power from BS-VI compliant petrol motor.

Along with the length and wheelbase, the carmaker has also increased the height of the car by 2 mm

The Volkswagen Tiguan AllSpace will get propelled by a 2.0-litre, TSI petrol engine, which puts out 190 bhp of power and 320 Nm of peak torque. The transmission duties will be done by a 7-speed DSG transmission. Moreover, the SUV will also feature the company’s 4MOTION all-wheel-drive system. Once launched, it’ll compete with the likes of Skoda Kodiaq and Honda CR-V.
