The 'Pop-Up' showroom is targeted at the emerging markets in India.

On the other hand, being a derivative of the ‘Pop-up’ showrooms but targeted at larger cities with the young customers, the ‘City’ showrooms will follow environmentally-friendly and paperless procedures. Particularly, all the customers’ questions will be smoothly addressed using digital technologies. The first ‘City' store of Volkswagen has been established in Bengaluru, Karnataka.

In the meanwhile, the 'City' showroom will provide a premium experience to the young and energetic customers in urban areas.

That said, these new showrooms will not offer aftersales services. Therefore, even if the vehicles are purchased from these car stores, aftersales services will still be conducted at the nearest workshops of the traditional fully-equipped dealerships in India. Both the ‘Pop-up’ and City showrooms are now in full operation and are ready to offer the customers a premium experience. Currently, Volkswagen has a total number of 119 showrooms and 113 workshops in 100 cities in the country. As regards Volkswagen portfolio in India, the company is currently having the Tiguan, the Passat, the Vento, the Ameo and the Polo.
