Volvo XC40 Offered With Discounts Of Up To Rs 4 Lakh

Volvo is offering discounts up to Rs 4 lakh on its entry-level SUV, the XC40. The SUV comes loaded with all the bells and whistles to rival the likes of Audi Q3, BMW X1 and more.

The Swedish carmaker Volvo is offering some great discounts on its entry-level crossover SUV, the XC40. The automaker has announced special offers for the XC40, which originally carries a price tag of Rs 39.90 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). Volvo India has introduced an all-new ‘Hassle-Free Offer’ for the potential XC40 buyers by bringing down the price of the SUV to Rs 36.90 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). To sweeten up the deal furthermore, the carmaker is offering complimentary accessories worth Rs 1 lakh for the XC40. This means that the 2020MY Volvo XC40 is offered with a discount up to Rs 4 lakh. Volvo said that this discount was introduced as a part of the celebration for India’s 74th Independence Day on 15th August 2020.

The Volvo XC40 was launched back in December 2019. It is only available in T4 R-Design variant. Being a Volvo product, the crossover SUV comes loaded with a host comfort, convenience, and safety features. Right now, the carmaker offers five products in select variants, namely- XC40, XC60, V90 Cross Country, S90, and XC90. Styling highlights in the new Volvo XC40 includes two-tone colour paint scheme, piano black highlights, full-LED adaptive headlamps, and 19-inch dual-tone alloy wheels. The crossover SUV has an impressive ground clearance of 211 mm and has a wheelbase of 2,702 mm. Moreover, the XC40 is the only car in its segment which offers radar-based active safety features.

Inside, it comes loaded with features like a 9.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility, collision mitigation, in-car Spotify, lane-keep assist, panoramic sunroof, HDC, leather upholstery, 360-degree camera, wireless charging pad, adaptive cruise control, 14-speaker Harman Kardon music system, powered tailgate, six airbags, dual-zone climate control and more. Mechanically, it derives power from a 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbocharged gasoline engine that produces 190bhp of peak power at 4,700 rpm and 300 Nm of twisting force at 1,400-4,000 rpm. It comes mated to an 8-speed automatic gearbox. Globally, it competes with the likes of BMW X1, Mercedes-Benz GLA, and Audi Q3.
