The new VW Nivus comes with a large touchscreen infotainment system.

Since the Nivus shares the MQB A0 platform with the Volkswagen Polo, it will have the same wheelbase length as the hatchback, measuring 2,560 mm. The crossover is likely to receive its power from a 1.0-litre turbo TSI gasoline burner which will be available in two different states of tunes. Specifically, this engine can generate 116 HP and 126 HP in the manual and automatic versions, respectively. An FWD system will be offered as standard across all the variants.

As regards the exterior, the Nivus is expected to feature LED headlights with DRLs, functional roof rails, two-tone alloy wheels, and plastic cladding and LED taillights, which makes it look more robust. The Nivus will go on sale in Brazil initially before going to European markets in 2021.
