The Indian automobile industry is suffering from a huge loss due to the ongoing situation. Many carmakers have started selling cars online through their official channels to keep their businesses going. VW India has recently joined the race by introducing digital sales and service platform in the country. 

A customer can browse through the range of cars on VW India's official website and book as per his requirements.

This will enable the customers to choose from a wide variety of vehicles offered by the carmaker. The online sales procedure is quite simple, hassle-free and offers an end-to-end contactless experience to the buyers. The whole sales process, including buyer showing interest and talking to the sales executive until the car handover process, will be conducted online. Preparing itself for the digital future, VW India has connected its 137 sales and 116 service touchpoints online. With this, a buyer can choose their preferred VW dealership while making an online booking.

Speaking on this development, Mr. Steffen Knapp, Director, VW Passenger Cars India comments, “At Volkswagen, digitalization has been the core principle of our strategies. With the launch of our simple, secure and user-friendly online retail platform, we are pushing the boundaries of end-to-end retail sales and strengthening our commitment to customers. We aim to provide our customers the flexibility in choosing their preferred Volkswagen product through a contactless channel.”

On the other hand, to book a service product, a person can fill up his personal details along with his demands online for the service team. Afterwards, the service team will contact the customer as per his preferred time slot. A customer can also select the pick-up and drop-off based on his/her convenience. For a safer transaction, the personal verification will be authenticated via an OTP by the preferred dealership.
