Skoda Auto India confirmed that its Rapid sedan has been overbooked for 2020 thanks to the excessive demands from the Indian customers.

With the price ranging from Rs 7.49 – 13.29 lakh (ex-showroom), the Skoda Rapid is currently the most affordable executive sedan that you can buy in India. Thanks to the aggressive price tags, the Skoda Rapid is receiving exponential responses from the Indian buyers. In other words, the demand for the Skoda Rapid is now higher than the production capacity of the company.

According to Mr Zac Hollis, Director of Sales, Service and Marketing, Skoda Auto India, the company has sold out the Rapid for the year of 2020. The booking figures for the sedan have crossed the monthly manufacturing capacities of the company. As a result, the supply of the Skoda Rapid will commence again in early next year so we can safely assume that the deliveries of the car will begin next year itself.
