Recently, the German manufacturer has released a teaser video of its latest sports sedan which finished its final tests at the Nürburgring before its official launch later this year.

As for the dimension, the new 3-series model is updated 10mm lower and 55kg lighter compared to the outgoing model. Additionally, the 3-series Beemer will be featured with a host of M Sports updates such as 18-inch lightweight wheels, a new steering wheel, an M Sports differential, and a new M Sports suspension which offers an even sportier ride than before. This suspension is now updated with an innovative lift-related damping system which works in tandem with its neutralizing bumps, spring travel and vibrations on the road.

Regard of the interior, for the dashboard, the BMW will feature glossier and chrome elements around its air vents. This is expected to be in response to the flashy-yet-lavish interiors offered in its C-class rival. The car is also set to ditch the part-digital, part-analogue instrument cluster of other BMWs in favour of a full-digital instrument screen – much like the one seen in Audi’s Virtual Cockpit.

The car receives the power from the four-cylinder engine which is claimed to be more fuel-efficient than its predecessor. This new BMW 3-series also offers a new 8-speed Steptronic transmission and a perfect balance which is 50:50 weight distribution between its front and rear axles.

BMW 3-series is expected to trickle-in ahead of model’s official Paris unveil.
