Next-gen Hyundai Grand i10 to Launch in October 2019

The South Korean carmaker is likely to launch the next-gen of Hyundai Grand i10 in October 2019. This all-new Grand i10 has been spied testing in India recently. Expected to be launched next year, the car will get a different design, more kit and a new AMT gearbox.

Hyundai Grand i10 takes its testing in Korea

As for the new design, the all-new Grand i10 is claimed to share the design language with the upcoming Hyundai Elantra. In particular, this new Grand-i10 will offer the hexagonal front grille and wider headlamps as well as the tail-lamps.

Regard of the dimension, there will be only one version for the global market which focuses on the backseat comfort and the rear legroom as the current generation of Grand i10 on sale in Indian market is larger than the global model. 

While the current-gen Grand i10 on sale here is larger than the model sold abroad, this time there will likely be just one version for the global market, focusing on rear legroom and backseat comfort.

In terms of features, the Grand i10 has already feature-packed. However, the Korean automaker could equip even more features to this new model. One of the features expected the larger touchscreen infotainment system and a sunroof.

There will be solely one version for the global market

With the powerhouse, the current 83hp, 1.2-litre petrol engine and 75hp, 1.2-litre diesel motor will be replaced with a new AMT gearbox.

The prices for the next-gen model will witness a slight increase which is expected to be around Rs 5-7 lakh (ex-showroom).
