The Mahindra XUV300 is based on the SsangYong Tivoli, which measures over 4 metres in length. To meet the sub-4-metre criterion, Mahindra has decided to trim the overhangs on both the car front and rear, but the wheelbase remained unchanged. Its expected exterior feature list will include a sunroof, 17-inch wheels and LED projector headlamps. As regards the interior, the compact SUV will offer its passengers a two-zone automatic temperature control, which will be, for the first time equipped on a small SUV in India. Other interior features consist of start bush button, smart keyless entry, driver MID, etc.

Furthermore, it will also be replete with segment-leading safety features. The XUV300 is also laden with first-in-the-segment safety features such as seven airbags and disc brakes on all the four wheels. The SsangYong Tivoli got four stars in the EURO NCAP, so we expect that its sibling will get the same or even better result.
