Skoda has introduced its online retail sales platform through which the customers can book Skoda models, including Karoq SUV, Superb facelift and 2020 Rapid, while still staying at home.
Skoda will pay a sum of Rs. 60 Crores to its dealers to help them manage the fixed costs of operating a dealership during this lockdown as the carmaker does not wish to disturb its sales channel as it will soon be launching some new SUVs in the market.
Skoda has launched the Rapid facelift in China with the refreshed exterior. It is expected to be launched in India since it gets underpinned by the same platform as the India-spec car.
Skoda will soon be starting with operation in Sri Lanka by May 2020. Apart from that, the manufacturer is also evaluating to export the production-spec Vision IN.
