2020 Hyundai Creta Seen with Multiple Alloy Wheels Options - From 17-inch to 20-inch Units

Hyundai Creta is highly loved by the Indian audience. The record-breaking sales number in May and June do back our statement up. Also, it was the best-selling car in the country for May this year. Offered in a total of 5 trims, with 3 engine options and 4 gearbox options, there’s a Creta for almost every type of buyer. However, the entry-level trim option comes stripped down from a lot of goodies, such as alloy wheels. But, they can be bought via aftermarket route to enhance the overall appeal of the 2020 Hyundai Creta. In the video, the host goes along with his friend to a wheel shop – Velocity Tyres, which is located in Ludhiana, Punjab, to get a set of aftermarket rims for the Creta. They explore a lot of options of various diameters, such as 17-inch, 18-inch, and 20-inch. Although they end up fixing for a set of 17-inch chrome-plated rims, shod with ContiCrossContact A/T tyres of size 215/60 R17. Explaining the reason to opt for the 17-inch rims with bigger sidewalls, the shop owner explains that it helps in maintaining the overall ride comfort. The low-profile rubbers draped on bigger rims, on the other hand, reduce the ride comfort. Furthermore, the shop owner installs sensors on the rims, which work in tandem with the tyre pressure monitoring system.

As an OEM fitment, the lower trims of the 2020 Creta come shod with 206/65 R16 tyres, while the top-spec trim is offered with 215/60 R17 tyres. Hyundai Creta is offered with 3 engine options – 115 PS 1.5L petrol, 115 PS 1.5L diesel, 140 PS 1.4L turbo-petrol. The transmission options on the 1.5L petrol motor include a 6-speed MT and an IVT, while the 1.4L turbo-petrol motor can be had with a 7-speed DCT only. The oil-burner, on the other hand, can be had mated to either a 6-speed MT or a 6-speed AT.
