The long-anticipated new 2020 Hyundai i20 is expected to be launched in the Indian auto market next month, prior to which, the South Korean automaker has started to deliver the first units of the premium hatchback to the dealerships. This walkaround video will show the new i20 in details. Firstly, let’s have a look at the video first.

The video shows the exterior of the new i20. In the front, the vehicle comes with a large cascade grille with headlights creating the grille’s extension. Projector lenses are present inside the headlights and below the projector fog lights in the triangular housing. On the side profile, you can realize the stylish alloy rims and wing mirrors with integrated turn indicators. The new Hyundai i20 will also come with an optional sunroof which is restricted to only the high-spec variants. In the rear, the car comes with Z-shaped taillights which are connected by a chrome stripe. Nevertheless, in the low-spec variants, the chrome stripe gives way to a reflector.

The Hyundai i20 will receive its power from three motor options: a 1.2-litre NA petrol motor, a 1.0-litre turbo gasoline burner and a 1.5-litre oil unit. The transmission duties will be undertaken by a manual gearbox, a 7-speed DCT and iMT with the diesel version being likely to get only a 6-speed MT.

After the new Creta and Aura and the facelifted Tucson and Verna, the Hyundai i20 will be the last launch of the South Korean auto manufacturer for the Indian auto market. The new premium hatchback will compete against the Honda Jazz, Toyota Glanza, Maruti Baleno and Tata Altroz.
