Take a look at this digitally modified example of 2020 Mahindra Thar that looks all set to smoke some fast cars.

2020 Mahindra Thar has been recently launched in the Indian market. It has managed to garner quite a lot of bookings by now. Also, the aftermarket accessories for this off-roader are already there in the market. Moreover, we are sure that a lot of Thar owners will be modifying this capable SUV to extract more out of it off the road. However, there would be a few speed-frenzy souls who would trade in the off-road capabilities to make their possession a go-fast SUV. Interestingly, Thar is capable of donning this avatar as well. While a lot might not agree with this statement, here's a digitally modified version of the new-gen Thar that looks all set to smoke some fast cars.

We came across this modified example via a YouTube video, which was uploaded by 5773 Techz on their channel. In the rendering, the Thar wears a silver paint job that lends it with an understated appeal. However, the tuner could not keep it intact, as other modifications made the Thar look mean. It gets a sportier bumper at the front with a lot of mesh inserts. Also, it gets a bonnet scoop. On the roof, a set of marker lamps are mounted. Moving over to the sides, massive alloy wheels shod with low-profile tyres can be seen. There are subtle side skirts as well. The rear wheel arch is now square in shape and gets a similar cladding as the front one. A massive spoiler is fixed on its roof. From the windshield, a pair of racing seats is also visible.

While this is just a digital modification, a real-world example would look scintillating for sure. Also, the new-gen Thar comes with 4X4 layout as standard, which means that it will never run out of traction. Moreover, the 2.0L mStallion turbo-petrol engine is good enough to produce 150 Hp and 320 Nm in its stock avatar. But, Mahindra showcased a top of the line iteration of this engine at the 2020 Auto Expo, which boasted of rated power and torque output of 190 Hp and 380 Nm, respectively. In simpler words, the 2.0L turbo-petrol motor of the all-new has the potential of making it a go-faster SUV.
