2020 Mahindra Thar Reimagined In Various Bright Colour Shades

Mahindra & Mahindra has recently revealed the new-gen Thar in the Indian market. The all-new off-roader is slated to launch in our market on 2nd October 2020. The upcoming Mahindra Thar will be offered in six distinctive colour shade options, namely- Red Rage, Aquamarine, Mystic Cooper, Rocky Beige, Galaxy Grey and Napoli Black. Mahindra will not offer the SUV with white and silver shades as the carmaker has introduced the three new colours. But what if the new-gen Mahindra SUV would have offered some vibrant colour options? Here are some digital renderings that have reimagined the SUV in some bright shades. 

Of course, none of these colour options will be ever offered on the new model but these digital renderings do help us get to know what the new SUV would look like in some unique and funky colour shades. The 2020 Mahindra Thar has already attracted a lot of enthusiasts around the country. In the new digital renderings, the SUV employs colour shades like Green, Blue, Purple and Orange.

The 2020 Mahindra Thar will be offered three different trim levels namely- AX, AX Optional and LX. Mechanically, the off-roader derives power from new BS6-compliant petrol and diesel engine options. It gets a new 2.0-litre mStallion four-pot gasoline motor that produces 150bhp of maximum power and 320Nm of peak torque, while on the other hand, the diesel variant features a 2.2-litre diesel mill which puts out 130bhp of maximum power and 320Nm of peak twisting force. Transmission duties will be done by a 6-speed MT or a 6-speed automatic gearbox paired with a four-wheel-drive system.

The SUV is expected to be priced between Rs 10 to 15 lakh (ex-showroom). Once launched, the 2020 Mahindra Thar will rub shoulders with the likes of upcoming Maruti Jimny and Force Gurkha. The automaker will initiate the booking of the SUV on 2nd October and will reveal its prices on the same date.

The SUV will be offered with soft-top and hard-top options. Inside, it’ll come loaded with features like a touchscreen infotainment system, premium leather seats, semi-digital instrument console, steering mounted controls and much more.
