Test mules of BMW X8 have been spied quite a few times by now, thus confirming the SUV's arrival. However, here's how the BMW X8 will look like. Take a look at this rendering.

A couple of years ago, BMW X8 was a mere rumour. But now the test mules of the range-topping SUV have been spied in broad daylight. Thus, it is confirmed that BMW X8 will go on sale by the beginning of next year. According to some media reports, the X8 will be the halo product from the Bavarian stable. Moreover, some media outlets claim that it has been internally codenamed as ‘Project Rockstar’. In summation, it will be a coupe-ish & sportier version of the larger BMW X7. While it will most likely be putting out a rated output of 750 HP and 1000 Nm in the M avatar, none knows what it will look like. But, our in-house rendering specialist – Shoeb R. Kalania has come up with his illustrations.

In the rendering above, the BMW X8 looks appealing. It gets a sporty silhouette with a long hood line and lowered roofline. On the front facet, massive kidney grille can be seen as is the case with new beemers. The radiator grille is flanked by sleek LED headlamps that also house distinctive LED DRLs. These LED DRLs lend the X8 with an angry face. The front bumper draws inspiration from the other BMW cars with vertical air vents on either side. Talking of the sides, black cladding runs across the car’s length, giving it some much-needed rugged appeal.

Also, 5-spoke alloy wheels do the favour of lending a sporty element to the design. While it looks squatter and longer than all the BMW SUVs we’ve seen till date, it’d presumably not be the case when seen in the flesh. Around the rear end, there’s a small spoiler on the trunk gate that induces a sportier touch to the rear facet. Well, the rear-end is not as rakish as the X6 or as upright as the X7, it rather boasts of a great balance to offer style and practicality. Once launched, the BMW X8 will rival the likes of Audi Q8, Mercedes-Benz GLE Coupe, Range Rover Velar and more. The X8 M, on the other hand, will take on the likes of Audi RS Q8, Mercedes-Benz GLE Coupe AMG, and Lamborghini Urus.
