There are also 3 new dual-tone colour options for the top variants - Pearl Arctic White with Pearl Midnight Black roof, Solid Fire Red with Pearl Midnight Black roof, Pearl Metallic Midnight Blue with Pearl Arctic White roof. The video has been uploaded by Javed Khan Autoblogs on YouTube where we can see this walkaround video of the facelifted Maruti Swift LXI. As mentioned above, the most discernible change you’ll notice is the new grille with a chrome strip in the middle. The LXI variant is the base trim, which means it doesn’t come with any fog lamps and rides on 14-inch steel wheels. On the side, it gets black door handles and black manual ORVMs with turn indicators on the front fender.s Other than the grille, the design of the new Swift remains largely the same. Over to the interior, the Swift LXI gets a single analogue speedo in the instrument cluster with the older MID being carried over as well. There are no power windows, you get only manual wind-up ones while there’s no infotainment system as well. You get a new button for the Idle Start-Stop feature. Overall, much like the exterior, the interior of the facelifted model is very similar to the old one, with the more noticeable features being available on the higher variants.

The new Maruti Swift now gets a new engine, the 1.2-litre Dualjet VVT petrol engine which also powers the Baleno. The new powertrain makes max power of 90 PS and 113 Nm of peak torque. The engine also comes with Idle Start-Stop tech for improved fuel efficiency and also gets Dual VVT and an exhaust gas recirculation system that helps lower emissions.
