With the launch of the Tata Tiago facelift, the carmaker pulled the plug on the hatchback's Cross avatar. Well, here's how it would look like if it makes its way to the showroom floors again.

Tata Tiago is currently the most affordable offering from the indigenous carmaker in the Indian market. It rivals the likes of Hyundai Grand i10 Nios, Maruti WagonR, Maruti Ignis and more. The Tiago received a mid-cycle facelift in January 2020, however, in its facelifted avatar, it missed out on its cross avatar - Tiago NRG. Well, it seems like the carmaker has no plans to launch the Tiago Cross as of now. But in case, if it gets the approvals, how would it look like? No, don't spend time thinking about its looks, we have got you covered. Here’s a digital rendering made by Shoeb R. Kalania that show what 2021 Tata Tiago Cross would look like.

The Tata Tiago Cross looks quite appealing in the above rendering. The designer has made some tweaks to make it look slightly different from the regular Tiago. On the front, it gets a revised bumper with a wide and chunky scuff plate, which is finished in brushed silver. The radiator grille is a revised unit as well, and it now features the old ‘TATA’ logo that was last seen on some old Tata trucks.

While the headlamp units look the same, the internals are replaced with smart-looking LED inserts and lighting elements. Also, the foglamp housings are now tweaked a bit. On the sides, the Tata Tiago Cross has been shod with a set of new alloy wheels, which look quite handsome. Other changes on this rendered Tata Tiago Cross include the side cladding and roof rails.

Overall, the Tata Tiago Cross looks quite smart, and if it goes on sale in this avatar, it will lure a lot of customers for itself. Currenlty, the regular variants of the Tata Tiago are offered with a 1.2L Revotron petrol motor. The 3-pot unit is capable of putting out a peak power output of 86 PS and max torque of 113 Nm. For the transmission duties, one can either opt for a 5-speed MT or a 5-speed AMT. Talking of the prices, the Tiago starts at Rs. 4.70 lakh and goes up to Rs. 6.74 lakh.
