Starting off as a highly anticipated SUV in the market, the Jeep was selling well with an average monthly sales of around 1,500-2,000 units. However, after two years, the heat has worn off and the sales figure is nose-diving. One of the reasons is the increasing competition which follows the constant debuts of new models like MG Hector, Kia Seltos or Tata Harrier. Most of the new rivals are competitively priced and well-equipped.

Jeep Compass facelift will come with BSVI-compliant engines

To reinforce its competitiveness, Jeep will launch the facelift version of the Compass in order to reverse the sale inclination.
