5 NEW Features of Kia Seltos to Take on 2020 Hyundai Creta

Kia Seltos is the best-selling car of the South-Korean carmaker in the Indian market. It helped the brand carve a niche for itself around the Indian audience. The Seltos was loved by the Indian car buyers to an extent that Kia became the third-largest carmaker in India in February this year. However, in March, Hyundai launched the 2020 Creta, which grabbed a big bite from the Seltos's market share right after its launch. The 2020 Creta was the best-selling car for May this year. This made Kia update the features list of the Seltos, and it now comes with a revamped one.  Before you folks start panicking to know of the changes, here’s the list of 5 new features that Kia Seltos now get to take on the 2020 Creta.

All-Black Leather Upholstery In GTX/GTX+ Trim

To match the all-black interior of the Turbo variants of the 2020 Hyundai Creta, Kia is now offering the top-spec GTX+ variants in all-black leather upholstery. In earlier models, only the GTK and GTK+ trims came with an all-black interior, whereas the GTX and GTX+ trims were offered with dual-tone black-beige upholstery.

Smartwatch Connectivity With UVO Connect

The UVO connected-vehicle tech of the Kia now offers connectivity with smartwatches to let the owners start/stop their car remotely. Also, it offers other functions, such as lock/unlock the car or analyze the AQI of the car’s cabin. It offers a total of 37 connected car features.

Remote Engine Start From Key Fob

With the 2020 update, Kia Seltos gets a revised key fob, which now comes with a button to remote start/stop the car’s engine. It can be done so when the vehicle is not more than 500 feet away from you.

Sunroof In HTX and GTX Trims

MY2019 models of the Kia Seltos offered the sunroof in the GTX+ and HTX+ trims only. However, it is now a much-loved feature of the Indian audience. And, Hyundai Creta offers a panoramic one, instead. Thus, Kia is now offering it in the not-top-spec GTX and HTX trims, as well.

Dual Muffler Design Bumper On Lower Variants

Kia offered the Seltos with different rear bumper designs with different trim levels. The top-spec trims came fitted with dual-exhaust muffler type bumper. Although, the exhaust ports were fake, but Kia is now fitting in the same bumper on the lower variants as well.
