All-new Honda City has been launched in the country at a starting price of Rs. 10.89 lakh. However, the base trim of the City comes loaded with a slew of features. Check here to see how well loaded it is.

A few days back, Honda has launched the 5th-gen City in the country. It will retail with 2 engine options, 2 transmission options, and in a total of 3 variants, namely V, VX, and ZX. The V model is priced at Rs. 10.89 lakh ex-showroom Delhi. While the price might seem a tad bit higher than what the starting price of its chief rival - Hyundai Verna. But the entry-level trim of the City comes with loads of equipment on board. To give you folks an idea of how the base-spec looks and feels like, here’s a YouTube video that was uploaded by Cars Custom on their channel. In the video, the host gives a tour of the base-spec V variant of the new 5th-gen Honda City.

It can be seen that unlike the top-spec variants, the V trim comes equipped dual projector headlamps with LED DRLs. The top-spec ZX trim, on the other hand, gets the multi-segment LED headlamp units. Nevertheless, it does get a set of fog lamps mounted on the bumper, which isn’t generally the case with entry-level variants of the cars. On the sides, it gets a set of 15-inch multi-spoke alloy wheels. In comparison, the higher trims get the 16-inch diamond-cut units. Apart from these aspects, the base-spec trim of the all-new City is identical to the range-topping variant.

On the inside, even the base-spec V trim of the all-new City comes loaded with a slew of equipment. It gets 8-inch touchscreen infotainment with Honda Connect, Alexa remote capability, and compatibility for Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. On the safety front, it gets ABS with EBD, seat belt reminders, 4 airbags, electronic stability control, hill climb assist, agile handling assist, traction control, reverse parking sensor and camera with dynamic guidelines, and tyre pressure monitoring system.

Other convenience features on the base-spec City include cruise control, push-button start, climate control, tilt and telescopic adjustments for the steering wheel, steering-mounted paddle shifters, keyless entry with request sensor on door handles, remote engine start, and steering mounted buttons for audio and cruise control. However, a 3-year unlimited kilometre warranty is standard on all variants of the 5th-gen City, and so is the 12 months/10,000 km service interval.
