[Celebrity Car Collection] Amitabh Bachchan Adds Mercedes-Benz V-Class To His Garage

Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan has recently bought the Mercedes-Benz V-Class, India’s most expensive and premium MPV, which is priced at Rs 81.9 lakh.

Most of the Bollywood actors are automobile enthusiasts, who always keep their garages updated with the newest and swankiest of cars and bikes introduced in the market. One of the many car aficionados in the film industry is Mr Amitabh Bachchan, who owns some of the most luxurious machines available in the country, including the Lexus LX 570, Rolls-Royce Phantom, Mini Cooper S, Range Rover, Bentley Continental GT and Porsche Cayman S.

A Mercedes-Benz V-Class has been recently added to the car collection of Mr Amitabh Bachchan

He has now even become an owner of India's most luxurious MPV, the Mercedes-Benz V-class, which was launched on 24 January this year. He took delivery of his V-Class at his residence in Mumbai. We have no idea about the variant that he has brought but we expect that he has owned the top-spec Exclusive Line trim that is priced at Rs  81.9 lakh (ex-showroom, pan-India). 

The Mercedes-Benz V-Class is the most luxurious MPV on sale in India. The MPV comes in six seats and seven-seat layouts. The top-spec Exclusive trim gets 2+2 seating configuration in the second and third row. Moreover, the second-row seats can be rotated 180 degrees and the occupants can even use a retractable table top.

Amitabh Bachchan Mercedes-Benz V-Class MPV worths Rs  81.9 lakh 

The Mercedes-Benz V-Class measures 5140 mm in length, 1928 mm in width, 1880 mm in height and has a wheelbase of 3200 mm. The MPV comes in two variants- Long Wheelbase and Extra Long Wheelbase. The van features LED headlamps, a high-tech touchscreen infotainment display, 360-degree camera, dual-climate control, twin-pod instrument console and a premium leather upholstery with a leather-top dashboard. Powering the Mercedes-Benz V-Class is a BSVI-compliant 2.0-litre oil burner that churns out a maximum power of 161 hp and a peak torque of 380 Nm. The motor comes mated to a 7G-Tronic automatic transmission.
