While the booking for the MG Hector is put on the stop, the used car market is starting to see some MG Hector offers. On the contrary to what you might think about used cars, at the moment, a used MG Hector can actually cost more than a brand new unit. Recently, a used Hector was listed for sale on an online car listing site at the price that is 6 lakh higher than the showroom price. Before this car, there was another almost-new MG Hector available at the asking price of Rs 21 lakh against the showroom price of Rs 16 lakh.

This MG Hector is on sales in Kerala. The owner of the MG Hector reports that the travelled distance of this car stands around 2000 km. The car wears red exterior paint which is also the flagship colour of MG Hector. Registered in July, this almost-new car remains an intact 5-year warranty and 3 years of free-labour-charge service.
On the feature front, as a top-spec model, the MG comes with all the bells and whistles. The features available on the MG Hector includes a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with AI support. This advanced system allows the MG Hector to connect to the Internet as well as offer some other functions like live location and remote control via smartphone. The AI-powered system can perform tasks using voice commands. Other features of the top-spec MG Hector include a panoramic sunroof, 7-inch coloured MID, electronic parking brake, and full-degree camera.

The MG Hector on sales is of the top-spec variant with full equipment
At launch, MG Hector is available with a wide range of engine options including two petrol and one diesel engine. The used MG Hector is powered by a 2.0-litre diesel engine which generates a maximum power of 170 PS and a maximum torque of 350 Nm. This diesel motor is mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox. Besides this powertrain option, the MG Hector also offers a petrol 1.5-litre turbocharged petrol engine that makes 143PS and 250Nm. This engine can be available with a mild hybrid system. While the mild-hybrid petrol engine comes with the standard 6-speed manual gearbox like the diesel engine, the non-hybrid petrol engine is available with an optional 7-speed manual-clutch transmission.
