Mahindra Thar was one of the most successful launches of the year 2020. The car has become a dream of many car enthusiasts in India. Due to high demand, the waiting period of this model has gone up to 10 months. Only a portion of the customers who booked the Mahindra Thar have received their cars. Recently, Arti Singh, sister of Krushna Abhishek, is one of the newest owners of the second-gen Mahindra Thar in the country. The news was revealed by her brother via an Instagram post.

The television host posted a video of his sister and her new Mahindra Thar. In the video, he proudly congratulated Arti Singh. he revealed, this is the first time she has purchased a car. He also pointed out that this car was brought by her hard-earned money without “taking a penny” from her brother. Responding to her brother’s excitement, Arti Singh replied humbly, "Very nice, but I've always been lucky that my brother has pampered me. I never needed to spend my money." Krushna teased her, saying that, since she praised him so much, he would take the car to shoots.

Arti Singh also showed gratitude towards Krushna in the comment section where she expressed, how thankful she is for her brother’s support. She also posted a picture of herself with her brother and the new Mahindra Thar on her Instagram account. Other friends and colleagues, including actress Dalljiet Kaur, Tina Datta, Adaa Khan, Mahhi Vij and more, congratulated Arti on purchasing her first car.

Mahindra Thar is on sale at a starting price of Rs 12.10 lakh which goes up to Rs 14.15 lakh. The model that Arti owns is likely to be the top-spec variant of the Mahindra Thar. Launched in October last year, the new Mahindra Thar is available with a host of new updates, including both mechanical and cosmetic changes. Under the hood, the Mahindra gets two engine options, a new 2.0-litre turbocharged petrol (150 PS/300 Nm for MT and 320 Nm for AT) and a 2.2-litre diesel unit (130 PS/300 Nm). A 6-speed manual unit is available as standard in both petrol and diesel units while a 6-speed automatic unit is offered as an option.
