Take a look at this base-model Hyundai Creta, which has been modified to the sport design elements and creature comforts of the top-end trim.

Hyundai Creta in its second-gen avatar is offered in a total of 5 variants, namely E, EX, S, SX, and SX(O). The prices for the base-spec E (diesel-only) and EX start at Rs. 9.99 lakh. Therefore, most buyers are opting for the base-spec E and EX trims. However, these variants miss out on a lot of equipment. Nevertheless, these trims can be converted to look like the top-spec ones with certain modifications. On a similar note, the folks at Car Stylein are have converted a base model Hyundai Creta to top-spec one with original Hyundai equipment. Here’s a video, which showcases the same.

To start with, this Creta in the video is fitted with the chrome-finished cascading grille, which is offered on the SX and SX(O) variants only. The base variants, however, come with silver-finished radiator grille. Moreover, it now gets foglamp assemblies, which are again OEM units. Moreover, the tuner has fitted this car with roof rails, door visors, and door mouldings. Since the low-end variants of the Creta come with steel wheels, the modifier has replaced them SX(O) trim’s 16-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels here. With all of these modifications in place, this base model Creta surely looks like the top-end variant from the outside.

On the inside, it gets an all-black theme with red inserts like the Turbo variant of the Creta. The steering wheel is also wrapped in leather and features red stitching. The same suite is followed on the seats, door pads, and dashboard. Also, the steering wheel now gets controls for the aftermarket 10-inch infotainment unit. The pillars of this Creta are also trimmed with black inserts, thus lending it with a dark-themed interior.

While this Creta is equally loaded as the top-spec trims, it misses out on a few features like the panoramic sunroof, automatic climate control, steering-mounted paddle shifters, electronically-adjustable driver seat and more. Hyundai Creta is offered with 3 engine options – 1.5L petrol, 1.5L diesel, and 1.4L turbo-petrol. Talking of the gearbox options, there are 4 of them on offer – 6-speed MT, 6-speed AT, CVT, and 7-speed DCT.
