Tata Nexon looks good in its facelifted avatar, but it does miss out on a set of flashy alloy wheels. However, this Nexon gets a set of fancy 18-inch rims that makes it look even better. Take a look here.

Tata Nexon is one of the best-selling products from the indigenous manufacturer. It starts at Rs. 6.95 lakh for the entry-level XE variant. The Nexon comes loaded with a lot of safety equipment as standard even on the base-spec variant. However, it misses out on the stylish diamond-cut alloy wheels that are available on the top-spec trims, since the cheaper XE trim gets steel rims. Though, they can simply be replaced with aftermarket alloy wheels. Also, in the aftermarket options, one can find a lot of designs at various price points according to the convenience. Here’s one such Tata Nexon that we came across, which now sits on a set of flashy 18-inch alloy wheels.

The car in the picture belongs to Sachin Mb. These wheels come from a lesser-known Delhi-based brand – Prestige. The 5-spoke units look fabulous and wear a dark grey finish. Overall they blend well with the white paint scheme of the Nexon. Talking of the tyres, they feature low-profile and look adequately wide. Moreover, this Nexon features another aftermarket addition, the roof rails, since the base-spec XE trim doesn’t get them as standard equipment.

On the safety front, the Nexon comes fitted with equipment such as dual-front airbags, ABS with EBD, front seat-belt warning, ISOFIX child seat mounts, seat belts with pre-tensioners and load-limiters, high-speed alerts, electronic stability control, traction control, hill-hold assist, roll-over mitigation program, brake disc wiping, and rear parking sensors as standard. The top-spec trim, on the other hand, also gets the added safety net of rear parking camera with dynamic guidelines, day-night IRVM, rear defogger with wash and wipe, front and rear fog lamps and more.

Talking of the powertrain, Tata offers Nexon with 2 engine options – 1.2L petrol and 1.5L diesel. The 1.2L 3-pot turbo-petrol motor develops 120 PS of peak power and 170 Nm of max torque. The bigger 1.5L oil-burner puts out a peak power output of 110 PS and max torque of 260 Nm. Both of these engines are offered with 2 transmission options – 6-speed MT and AMT.
