Popular Car Company Logos In India

Car logos usually become popular as a result of the popularity of auto brands. In this session, we are going to further discuss some of the most popular car logos in India, which are also the logos of popular auto brands in the country.

Maruti Suzuki Limited

Maruti Suzuki India Limited (MSIL) is the subsidiary of the Suzuki Motor Corporation in Japan. Established in early 1981, the company has dominated the Indian car market since then up to now. The car logo of the company has experienced alterations throughout the years.

In the previous logo, the names of the two companies were placed on top of each other. In the meanwhile, in the new logo, the names of these companies are positioned side by side. The font has remained unchanged, but the colour becomes lighter, which makes the logo livelier. The tag line “Count on us” has been changed to “Way Of Life”.

Throughout the evolution of the logo, Maruti Suzuki has also introduced many car models which satisfy the customers’ requirements.

Noteworthily, although the brand logo includes two companies’ name side by side, the car emblem of Maruti cars only include the Suzuki logo. Why? One possible explanation for this is that Suzuki stakes account for up to more than 56%. Nevertheless, the cars manufactured by this company still come with Maruti before Suzuki and then the model because of Indian customers’ sentiments in which Maruti is more well-known than Suzuki.
