Under the hood of the Urus is a 4.0L twin-turbocharged V8 motor, which can produce an impressive power/torque output of 641 bhp/ 850 Nm. Not only is the Urus the first SUV made by Lamborghini but it also has the first turbocharged motor to be produced by the Italian automaker as all other models in its portfolio come with naturally aspirated units. The 0 – 100 kmph acceleration time of the Urus SUV is 3.6 seconds, which amazing for an SUV of such size. It can reach a speed of 200 kmph in 12.8 seconds and a maximum speed of 305 kmph.

Thanks to the quite high ground clearance, the Urus is much more practical than other products from the same producer, which is the reason why it is so popular in India, where road conditions are not good enough for cars with low clearance. In the Indian luxury SUV segment, the Lamborghini Urus competes against Rolls Royce Cullinan and the Bentley Bentayga with the luxury car automaker Ferrari having confirmed about their entry into the SUV segment soon.
