Here is our list of the cheapest BSVI diesel cars in India, which comprises Honda Amaze, Hyundai Grand i10 Nios and the Ford Figo family

The compliance with BSVI emission norms are making diesel motors so expensive that they are no longer a reasonable option for buyers of small vehicles. As a result, Maruti Suzuki has discontinued all its diesel cars while Tata Motors has put an end to diesel engine option on its entry-level offerings. Nevertheless, several other auto manufacturers continue to offer an oil burner on some of their cheapest BSVI models. These auto companies do realize that a demand for a diesel engine still exists from auto buyers who would not hesitate to invest some more to benefit from this type of engine’s tractability, higher fuel mileage and torque-y character.
