1. Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG

One of the most notable nameplates on Dulquer Salmaan’s collection is the 2-door roadster Mercedes Benz SLS AMG. The car is the proud successor of the 300SL Gullwing. SLS is the acronym for Super Leicht Sport, meaning Super Light Sport. By the time of its launch, the SLS AMG sported a 6.2-litre M 153 engine which was, as per AMG’s statement, “the world’s most powerful naturally aspirated production series engine” ever made. This powerful engine empowers a wonderful driving experience in the track as well as in the regular daily driving environment.

2. BMW M3

Coming next on the list is a model from the German carmaker. The BMW M3 is the performance variant of the BMW 3 Series. This convertible car derives power from a BMW S14 4-cylinder engine. This robust engine allows the BMW M3 to propel from idle to 60 mph in 4.1 seconds. The top speed of the M3 stands at 155 mph.

3. BMW X6 M

Here’s to another performance variant of a BMW car. The BMW X6 M is the first car in BMW M line-up to feature the combination of xDrive 4-wheel-drive system and automatic gearbox. BMW X6 M can sprint from idle to 100 kmph in 4.5 seconds. The car is estimated to cost Dulquer Salmaan around Rs 2.13 crore.

4. Volkswagen Polo GTI

Volkswagen Polo GTI is among the most affordable nameplates on Dulquer Salmaan's luxury car collection. The price of this hatchback was around Rs 24 lakh. Volkswagen Polo GTI is powered by a 1.8-litre petrol engine that puts out a top power of 192 PS and a 250 Nm. The petrol unit is mated to a 7-speed PDK automatic transmission. This hatchback can do the 0-100 kph sprint in 7.2 seconds. While it was available in our market, Volkswagen only offered a limited number of this model. After that, his car has been discontinued in India. 

5. Porsche Panamera Turbo

In 2017, the actor added the Porsche Panamera Turbo to his prized collection. At the time of purchase, the Porsche Panamera had just made its debut at the Geneva Motor Show. As soon as the car embarked our shore, Dulquer Salmaan had brought this car to his garage. It is reported to cost the actor around Rs 2.3 crore.

Built on the MSB architecture, the Porsche Panamera comes with a rear-wheel-drive layout with a front-located engine. It is powered by a 4.0-litre V8 petrol engine that unleashes a top power of 543 Bhp and 770 Nm. The engineering system allows the car to propel toward 100 kmph in 3.8 seconds.

It is worth noticing that the Porsche Panamera Turbo is not the first Porsche in his family’s garage. In fact, his father is a big fan of the Germany car brand. Mammooty is the owner of a Porsche Panamera and a Cayenne S SUV. Dulquer himself also owns a classic Porsche 911.
