People are often seen performing stunts on public roads, but spotting a cop do the same is not easy. However, this policeman changed the stereotype.
Bollywood flicks are incomplete without cars and stunts. It is often seen that people imitate the stunts on their cars in public. They do get challaned for violating rules and putting the lives of other road users in danger. However, this incident is something different. A policeman from Madhya Pradesh replicated a stunt performed by Ajay Devgn in his movie Singham, where he rides on two different cars. In this video, the policeman is seen standing of the roof of two Honda Amaze, while they ride parallel to each other. Also, in the video, the title song of Singham plays in the background.
After the video got viral across various social media platforms, it reached to the Madhya Pradesh's police department. After a probe, the policeman was identified as Manoj Yadav. He currently holds the rank of SI in Madhya Pradesh police and is appointed as SHO at Narsinghgarh police station. Yadav has been fined for Rs. 5,000 for performing this life-risking stunt. He has also been asked to keep himself away from such stunts. According to senior police officials, such an act will have a bad impact on the youngsters.
Talking of the cars that Mr. Yadav used in his stunt, they both are Honda Amaze. In its second generation now, the compact sedan from the Japanese carmaker retails at a starting price of Rs. 6.09 lakh. Amaze is offered with 2 engine options – 1.2L petrol and 1.5L diesel. The petrol and diesel engines produce a peak output of 90 PS/110 Nm and 100 PS/200 Nm, respectively. The transmission options on the Amaze include a 5-speed MT and a CVT automatic. Suspended on McPherson struts with coil spring at front and a torsion beam with coil spring at the rear, Amaze offers a perfect amalgam of ride comfort and sporty dynamics.
Cop balanced himself on the moving cars like Ajay Devgn did in Singham and Phool Aur Kante.
Honda has also packed the Amaze with a slew of features, such as 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay compatibility, steering mounted audio controls, automatic climate control, and more. On the safety front, Amaze comes equipped with dual front airbags, rear parking sensors, seat belt reminder, speed warning alerts, ABS with EBD, and seat belt with load limiter and pretension as standard fitment across the range.
