The Tata Vista, which can be considered a modified Tata Indica, got a sporty version called Tata Vista D90 in 2013. There is also an even more powerful version of this vehicle but it only exists in the concept version, the Tata Vista D90 Xtreme Concept. Read on to discover what this aggressive modified Tata Indica offers.

The home-grown automaker discontinued the production of the Tata Indica and the Tata Vista in July 2015. The Vista can be considered a modified Tata Indica and even initially named the Indica Vista. Nevertheless, the car soon became a failure because the Indica is known as a Taxi vehicle and the Indian auto customers generally were not willing to accept it as a personal vehicle. The Vista D90, which was a sportier version of the Vista with a more impressive performance and better riding quality, was officially launched on January 28, 2013, also suffered the same fate and was also shelved from production lineup. Even undergoing a more cruel fate is the Tata Vista D90 Xtreme Concept, which was also showcased at the Buddh International Circuit (BIC) along with the Vista, but has never been launched in India. In terms of the powertrains, the Vista D90 Xtreme Concept receives its power from the same engine as the D90, the 1.3-litre Fiat oil burner, but with a more impressive power of 105 PS, thanks to a power boost module. While the Tata Vista was well-known for its spaciousness, practicality and comfort, the D90 Xtreme Concept’s unique selling points consist of a contemporary and sporty appearance. It appears to be an ideal car for young auto buyers who are fans of high-performance crossovers. Having said that, the Vista D90 Xtreme Concept never comes into production, which came to many people’s deep regret.
