Ever wondered, how the Tata Altroz would look like in a dual-tone paint scheme? Stop now and take a look at the first-ever dual-tone Tata Altroz of the country.

Tata Altroz is receiving all the praises from critics for the way it looks. It is also the only car in its segment to come with a BS-6 compliant diesel engine. Nevertheless, the option of a diesel engine makes it the most expensive offering as well. The Altroz is offered with a black painted roof as an option, which does make the Altroz look good. However, it does not get a dual-tone paint scheme where the pillars are also painted in a shade of black. Well, you folks don’t need to imagine the Altroz with a dual-tone paint job in your head because here’s one, which dons a red-black dual-tone paint job.

We came across this modified example via a social media platform. The Altroz in the pictures dons the Downtown Red paint scheme. Thus, it looks even better with the contrasting black-painted top-half. To give it a dual-tone paint scheme, the owner has wrapped the pillars of the car with black vinyl sheets. Also, this Altroz now rides on a set of aftermarket rims, which look like 16 inches in diameter. On the whole, this Altroz looks scintillating. The Altroz is a feature-packed offering from Tata Motors. It comes loaded with a 7-inch touchscreen with Android Auto & Apple CarPlay compatibility and Harman-sourced sound system.

The Altroz is offered with two engine options – 1.2L petrol and 1.5L diesel. The former is designed to push out a rated power output of 86 PS and max torque of 113 Nm, while the latter churns out 90 PS of peak power and max torque of 200 Nm.  The Altroz is currently available with a 5-speed manual gearbox only, but Tata Motors is planning to launch a 7-speed DCT-equipped variant in the market soon. Also, the DCT-equipped trim will be available with a turbo-petrol motor only that will develop a rated output of 110 PS and 140 Nm.
